Sharing documents over email or text messages is not available on the Android version, as yet. There are two scanning modes, the default auto scanning mode, and a manual mode. It is possible for users to choose the format under which the images are stored. The images are stored in a holding folder on the phone, from which the images can be transferred to Evernote, or deleted. The star feature is a scanner, that intelligently identifies the kind of document, rotates it, crops it, adjust brightness and contrasts settings automatically. Evernote just obliged its Android users with a few of the features released on the droid version of the app. Scannable is a free app on the App Store that scans documents intelligently, and processes the acquired data. Users of the Android version of Evernote were clamouring for a droid release of the iOS exclusive application, Scannable.
